Toshikoshi Soba (year-crossing soba) is a Japanese tradition and we eat soba on New Year’s Eve to wish for the good fortune and health for the year ahead. Naoko @mrsdonabe cherishes this tradition and makes a soba dish every New Year’s Eve.

This year, she is making simple and delicious Egg Drop Soba with extra egg in her small donabe - to symbolize extra fortune!
